She stares at me at times but why?

Start of this sem,me and this girl talk like regular classmate in class,not much,just like any other class aquaintances.I dont have her IM but she's on my FB.
Soon after,i accidentally let out something sad from another person to her.After she heard it,I asked if she was unhappy because judging from her facial expression,it seems she is affected,but she said no.
On FB,irregardless,i apologised to her.However,for close to 2 months,there was no reply.
I too,avoid contact with her in class.Just recently,she del me off FB.
At times,i see her staring at me,not an aggresive stare but a normal nonchanlant one.
Is she trying to get back at me or what?She has a BF who's in the army and away for period of times at times so in theory i have to rule out the she's-into-me kind of reasoning.

I'm not thinking of stealing her.Its irrelevant anyway.Why does she keeps staring at me?Is it a stare of affection,or is it a stare or grudge?

Maybe she realizes now that it was a silly thing to be upset about and is questioning her reaction to it and subsequent dismissal of you. Maybe she was looking for attention and wondering why you haven't responded in absolute horror at being deleted from her FB. Maybe you have something stuck in your teeth. Who knows?

If you want to rekindle the friendship, you could always catch her at the end of class and just ask how she's doing. If you don't care about the friendship, then don't worry about her staring. Or you could publicly comment on the staring in an embarrassing way, and she'll stop.

one thing is also,whenever she sees me having lunch with 3-4 girls together,she would look at me.Ye,so its really weird behaviour from her.
actally,it wasnt something sad of another friend,but a comment about this classmate by another friend.it was a harmless comment saying this classmate talks alot.u're dam right i could approach her and while i stll want to talk to her again,i dont wat to look too needy.Or i could pretend i didn't know she del me off since FB doesn't send notification of people who deleted you.Our term's ending soon anyway.
