Can Guys and Girls Be JUST Friends?

Just curious what everyone's opinions are on this topic (male or female). Can guys and girls/men and women be JUST friends. I think it's possible. My mom has expressed to me that she believes it can't happen. I've heard also that women can be just friends with men but not vice versa. What do you guys think?

There are guys I consider myself to be friends with, but that's because I would never, ever consider sleeping with them. That doesn't mean that they would never, ever consider sleeping with me. I learned about that when I got divorced. Surprise! What a lot of male friends I had...

Anyway, I think you can have something that approximates a friendship if one or both parties has very strong boundaries.

I have ****ed every singe girl that I call on the regular but I don't **** them regularily so I'm sure its easy to be just friends as long as there is no alcohol in the mix. Believe me, males and females cannot be normal friends...they'll **** at some point of their lives. You'll see, lock a guy and a girl in a room and the next day the girl will be pregnant.

i often am attracted to my female friends. there have been a few female friends that have blown throw my whispy life, but none of them have really stuck like my male friends.
