This actually states that cheddar cheese actually has more tryptophan than turkey.

The whole tryptophan-sleep thing sounds like BS to me.
Does bananas make one sleepy? They are loaded with W. Or SSRIs?
I thought there was a hormone that gets released when your stomach is full. Some kind of satiety hormone. That, combined with the blood being shunted toward your gut, all contribute to making you sleepy.
When I first went on SSRIs I couldn't sleep for the life of me. I was a fuccking insomniac. Before I went on them I had a major depressive crash and was sleeping about 16 hours a day, and once I got on the SSRIs I felt so much better I couldn't sleep or rest. I was basically up all night the first couple of nights
I also sometimes take tryptophan in pill form, and being on SSRIs already you can induce a mild serotonin syndrome but it feels great
I always feel sleepy on thanksgiving, probably because I stuff myselff.
That's the point. If you aren't taking your shoes off to make room, you are missing the boat.
my dog (baron) treed a bunch of turkeys when we went backpacking one time.
he just pointed and ran off, then all of a sudden you hear the "quuuaaaaaark quuuuuuuuaaaaaaaarkrkk!" while they're flapping their wings as fast as they can to get their big fat selves up into the tree. lol it was one of the big highlights of my life. my dog was ever so proud of himself.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.
