And my answer to you would be do not listen to your emergency room friends. If this was a situation where you were getting tested about your knowledge of rectal prolapse, you would have failed miserably, and have your little ER buddies to blame.

How would they know that most people who come into the ER with rectal prolapse is gay unless they asked, or the patient disclosed this information, which I doubt would happen. One of the causes of rectal prolapse is definitely not anal sex. Even a pregnancy could cause rectal prolapse.

Hey Lesa girl, thanks for the warm welcome back. Anyway, to answer your question, they can become issues for gay men who are bottoms, especially bowel incontinence. See what happens is, after so many years of being on the bottom, which means receiveing, by the time old age sets in, diapers become mandatory. It becomes hard to hold bowel movements, and a fart could mean shit. But this is seen mostly in caucasion gay males, than afro-american, and even then its still rare. Not everybody is willing to take an 11in x 6in penis on a daily basis.

Yes, in fact, there are. The person who is the 100% giver is known in the gay community as the "top." They are not in anyway rare, and they can be either out, or still in the closet. The same goes for bottoms, the can be either out, or in the closet.
