A bit of slip up, or is it?

I was cell phone texting with the girl I'm seeing (for those who have read my other posts, we went on a few dates and made out once, but nothing exclusive yet) this morning. And umm... at some point I texted her with a message that praised her for being lovely, intelligent, and has a good personality.

Well, she didn't reply afterward. But then she visited me at work, and I asked her if she was okay with that message, because some people would view that as fake. Well, I choked a little bit when I ask that question as it was a bit awkward I thought.

She said she liked it and said thank you.

See, we are still in the stage of being friend-ish... So was I showing her that I'm not confident in myself or that I am considerate of her feelings?

Low self confidence has did me in the past, and I'm trying not to repeat my mistakes. Well, I guess this thread itself is a sign of my lack of self-confidence...

    Any thoughts?

I think you need to not think about it. No big deal.

I do tend to analyze too much a lot of times. I just need to not worry about it.

I don't know, may be that's why I posted here.

You're going to drive her away with your wussy ways if you keep up with these ways. You paid her a compliment, leave it alone.
