Poetry makes my head hurt. Almost without exception I fail to see the beauty in it. I love to read. But not if it's a bunch of foofy shit about walking down a road or gawking at a sunset. Now if it's some epic poetry about a guy plunging a white hot sword into a cyclops' eye or another dude ripping the arm off an evil creature and then jumping into a lake to kill its mommy, that's a different story.
