when to say 'I love you'?

I have been dating my boyfriend for 5 months and things are going great. We have a great time together and we have a healthy relationship. He was in a 5 year relationship before and was only single for 3 months when we began dating. I was in a 4 year relationship and was single for a year before we began dating. I know that I am in love with him but I'm not sure exactly how he feels. I'm just curious as to how long to wait until the "i love you's" are supposed to come up. I have almost said it a couple of times but I'm afraid of scaring him or pressuring him to say it back. Any advice?

hmmmmmmmm..... I have no idea on this one... I've never been in a really long relationship to know. I was stupid and said it too soon, when I confused love with emphatuation, and that ended in a bad way. I'd love to help, but I can't really say too much. I would do one of those touch and feel around things... just kinda see how he reacts to certain things and then if it feels right, go ahead and do it.

Don't say it with words. Yet. Let your behavior say it. Let your laughter say it. Let the gleam in your eye say it. Let the way you smile at him say it. Before too long, the words will follow of their own accord.

wait, wait, and then wait some more...As long as you're happy and you see that he is too, there will come a time when you will KNOW that it's right to say it.

This "time" is usually when she starts to refuse having sex with you.

I just realized you were a girl.

    In that case.

This "time" is usually when he starts to refuse having sex with you.

    Which will be never.

    Unless he's gay...

Its the right time to say it when you know you mean it.
