    High Drive

I have been with my boyfriend for about 4 years. He used to want it all the time, but now that we live together, it might be once a week if I'm lucky. It's always me that initiates things as well.

He does work different shifts, but this makes me feel like I'm not good enough or that there is something wrong with me in that I want it all the time.

Is this normal after you've lived together for a while?

Yep, it's totally normal. The first year is always the best, then it slows down after that, usually.

I remember having this conversation with my friends and their husbands only a couple of weeks ago. The women were complaining that they only get it once a week, and the guys were like "So?" Their excuse was that they're 'tired'......but I really do think male sex drives wane as they get older. Women, unfortunately, get hornier. Very unfair.

It might just be his level of stress and how hard he's working. How long does he work? What hours? Who has to worry about the bills? Those are all things to consider.

That does still sound unfair though. If you're horny and he doesn't try and satisfy you, he's being selfish. Remind him how when he was horny, how you always satisfied him. Tell him how there was never a moment that he was in the mood and that you made excuses or tried to avoid sex. Let him realize how unfair he's being to you.
