hey, how is everybody doing? i hope the original 'gang' is still here? I have not stopped by in ages, just wanted to say hello and hope everyone is doing well!

things are going okay, i have this new 'mini' project I'm working on, and hopefully by mid next year, it will take off! its about health/fitness/exercise, but will later be specifically related to preventive medicine.

besides that, the studying is non stop! but i'm optimistic as always! i'm looking forward to seeing who is still here, and what you have all been up to!

oh snap! i'm not much of a facebook user these days, i use to be. yeah, i haven't logged on in ages, and didn't get around to making a new profile and stuff. will do sometime though, how are things going? how is nursing treating you

Pretty good, most of the time. I kind of feel sorry for the doctors sometimes, though... Are you SURE you don't want to do something else... like pharmacy?

had i known medicine would be this way, i don't think i would've made the same choice again. but not even half way through, so hopefully it gets better

i use to be interested in ob/gyn, but recently i have started to enjoy neurology. still undecided, but i have a year to decide. probably will go into internal medicine.

how about you? i have heard lots of good things about nursing anesthesiologist!

They don't use them at my hospital, but I think they do in larger hospitals. They supposedly make a lot of money...

They are turning my floor into a neuro specialty floor... you should come and work here! As for me, I don't really care for the idea of being a neuro floor. The patients are often total care, and we never have the time to give them the care they deserve.

Internists have to deal with a lot of addicts. I don't know how you feel about that, but they are my least favorite kind of patients... so whiny and needy.

The ER doctors seem to enjoy their work, althought they also have their share of psych patients and drug seekers. Still, they seem to enjoy the adrenaline rush.

I DO think things will be better for you when school is done. Hang in there, sweety.

thanks vashti! yeah, i think it depends on your personality on what you'd enjoy. i would hate to go into EM, but i have friends who would be perfect at it.
