Ugh... Shot down or testing me?

So a couple weeks ago facebook suggested a friend. Long story short we've been dropping stupid and silly little messages for each other. Found out she goes to school near by and knows some of my old crew. Asked her if she wanted to have lunch this week. She replied saying she doesn't have to much time during the day for anything other than school and work. Was this a shut down or an invitation to ask her out to dinner or something more "Aggressive"?

just take what she said at face value bro. instead of worrying about reading between the lines, ask her upfront when she DOES have the time to meet you. i'm sure she will tell you immediately.

Maybe I'm suppose to take a rain check and back off a little. Can be kinda intimidating to have someone over the interweb wanna meet you... ?

Maybe she has a big zit or something. I think you should suggest something upcoming but not too soon, like next weekend. There's always something interesting going on where you live.

Oh, crap. I just realized next weekend is Valentine's Day. Pfff. Okay, maybe suggest something after that. Bleh, Valentine's Day.

Just suggest one more outing in the evening. If she declines that again and doesn't suggest an alternate time throw the ball in her court saying you're down for something when she has time and to ring you up then. That way you don't have to do any more work she'll either call you or not. No call means no (that's for armyboy).
