my resolution is 1920x1080 which makes the letters really tiny. however if i change the resolution then the whole screen is blurry. is there such an option to change the font only? my IT couldn't help me

Have you tried turning on ClearType? It makes fonts looks sharp and crisp.

haha.. the point being that things won't look fuzzy anymore when you reduce the screen resolution. You can easy increase the font size in the browser if that's what you're looking for.
that too, but i also use tons of other software that i need to see better

lol .
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Go to Control Panel under Display settings and look for something that says Appearance. its a tab and it should help you with font size.
Do you have a mouse wheel?
If so, try holding down the Control button (CTRL) and rolling the mouse wheel up and down. That should adjust the size of fonts.
grrr, i just did that to try it out, and cant get it back to the normal size, how irritating!
