There was once a time free of red lines
when the sun hung high.
When the orange sky was my past time
What was it that I look for
that happy ending
Like the twilight sky
those pretty blue eyes were my lifes beginning
And now I say goodbye
Cause my motives are gone
Moving on toward something new
What I thought was true something seen in you
Now I pretend to care
Pretend to share
All these things
questions up in the air
ones once sowed to floor
But now I know..Now I know it was all for show
just take the time to realize its part of you
Not us
So for once Im crossing the plane
jumping from these cliffs
Will you remember
take the time to count the numbers in order
Cause when it counts down to the end.
I wont pretend
Maybe some way I can get up and go
Just pretend you care with a smile
Provide a sentimental value to our lifes trials
all the while we knew it wouldn't be worth the trouble
for it wasn't the past that let us go
but the future we will never know
So when the weather calms
I promise to not disappoint
