I want something that smells as good as it works. Help me out boys. Its for a gift. He uses an electric shaver, not the old school disposable kind.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
well the part about using an electric shaver is that you don't need shaving cream. also, you don't get that baby smooth feeling. i honestly don't use shaving cream and i use a razor blade.. before i used to use gilette and it was alright.

yup, i live in hawaii where the humidity is very high. however, anytime that i travel, my skin gets really dry and i end up not shaving for most of the trip. moisturizers would be a good idea for your bf.

Maybe instead of shaving lotion, you could give him a shave. Start by getting a decent razor, and some shaving cream. Start warming up the shaving cream, and sit him down on a chair. Straddle him so you're facing him. Wash his face with a hot wash cloth nice and slow. Take your time. Lather up his face with the warm shaving cream, and very carefully give him a shave. Finish it off by washing off his face again with the warm wash cloth.
He can buy his own shaving lotion if he wants it, but he can't buy that.
Edit: Oh yeah.. Box up and wrap the razor and cream. When he opens it and gives you that confused look cause you know he uses electric, you can then let him know what's in store for him.

Oooh, I like that idea.

Sounds like you should be looking at aftershave, not shaving cream. Using a regular moisturizer after shaving is murder on the face.
Recommending aftershaves is tricky, since it's very important to get one that won't clash with the other scents he uses (shampoo, cologne, deodorant, etc.).
Yeah, after some thinking about it, its probably a better idea to let him pick out that kind of stuff on his own. I got him a hoodie and 2 tshirts. I am compltely out of ideas otherwise.
I'm thinking a mini keg of New Castle and a Cold Stone Creamery icecream cake and be done with it.
I stress over gift giving.

My GF tends to give me the gift of whiskey (and I never complain).
Keep your love life off Facebook, don't cheat, it's never too soon to make a move on a woman you like.
Good idea but I'm afraid I'd never get out of bed if I give him hard liquor.
