yes, but not really. Nothing but eating less calories than you spend and exercising will really work, though. Your crotch would be sore if that was your only way of burning calories!
edit: actually, maybe there's more to this than I'm thinking. Maybe it speeds up your metabolism a little or something.. though I dunno if that's likely.
