Weird Situation

Hi!
I'm kinda new here so be nice huh .
Ok.So I'm 16 years old.And I haven't had a girlfriend so far.(what a looser huh)
So I want to ask(just the ladies) there's this girl that I've seen a couple of times.I don't know her at all.But I noticed that this one time when I was going home and she was walking near me(not following me just in the same direction) whenever I turned my head in her direction she would stare me in the eyes.Not smile or anything just look me in the eyes.I've noticed her do that before but like for a second and then look away.Could that mean she likes me or am I just imagining things?

P.S. She's really cute too!

That's exactly what I was thinking maybe she doesn't like me she just thinks I'm some sort of a creep .Smiling's not going to help in that case haha.
But the funny thing is I wasn't staring at her I just looked in her direction not at her or anything.
