Desperate need of help

Me and this girl have been friends for awhile now. She likes me I like her, but she has a boyfriend and im pretty sure she likes a whole lotta other people. She tells me she likes me but from what ive been hearing she likes a lot of other people to im in middle school btw. She likes some kid in high school, some kid in another state who moved last year, some people from school, me, and her boyfriend. She tells me if I get a Scene Kid haircut "things would change" like she would leave her boyfriend for me.

there was this time a few months ago where she asked me out right after she broke up from her boyfriend from then. The next day at school i tell 1 of my friends, then he tells some other people and then it gets around the school. After school i get a txt from her saying " why the hell would you think were going out" i told her because the night before she asked me out. she says her cousin was using her phone but i know thats a lie. I had know idea wtf her problem was. we didnt talk to eachother for a very long time. we started again about 3 months ago slowly rebuiling our friendship.

my question is what should i do?! forget her cause she'll probably do the same thing again or what?

Yes, forget her. Girls at your age are basically flighty and crazy. Sometimes outright mean. Keep your expectations low; stay cool.
