The only benefit of aging is that you gain experience and wisdom. Unfortunately, you also end up looking better in granny pants than you do in a thong.

In the end, it all works out evenly.

Edit: ignore neo. He is just jealous because he *wants* wisdom, but is stuck in a thong.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Why is CAM not listed among the pantheon of great advisees? I'm shocked and disappointed. LOL

How does one learn about relationships? Easy, recipe. You mix one cup of screwing up repeatedly with the opposite sex (on the way, you spend thousands of dollars dating) and then bake for 20 years.

Presto....out pops lots of good advice. After two decades in "the business," it is pretty simple to figure out what to do because you've already done everything (or everyone) that you shouldn't do.

Hey, at least that's my approach to wisdom...

In the cases of people like Vash and Giga etc, I'd say it was based on experience.....not just personal, but experience through friends, family, acquaintances over the years too.

People like Fras and the like (by that I mean the 'younger' ones) it just happens to be sound opinion.

Years of sticking a fork in an electrical outlet has taught me a thing or two.

Seriously, I've made some pretty bad mistakes. If even one person thinks twice before doing some of the dumb shit I did, then my time has not been wasted.

It has little to do with knowing how "love" "works". It's really just a matter of understanding human behavior/patterns.

    Empathy.

Some people get it, others don't.

Plus, you learn from other people's mistakes and advice.

If I don't get somethin' I won't bother posting, but I'll read other's advice and watch it all play out. One thing I understand the most is anger/hatred/spite. Unfortunately I don't think we see enough of this in this forum so I'm relatively quiet.

Anyway, giving advice is easy. It's applying it that's difficult as there's an infinite number of factors that can affect the outcome. Sometimes you just gotta make the call on the fly without the input of others. Experience is the best way to learn.

There are some things you just can't explain with the word... fate. You're just going to have to see it with your own eyes.
