Texting Issue.

Okay so I get to see my girlfriend a few times a week, we are both fairly busy.

When im with her, she sometimes likes to text other people, including this one guy that she is "friends" with. Is it wrong of me to ask her to just leave her phone alone for a few hours while we are hanging out? Because by texting other people I almost get the feeling that she would rather be with them, then me.

haha..welcome to new technology. the last 3 gf's ive had had this problem..addicted to myspace/facebook/texting.

i dont think they do it out of disrespect...they just cant "disconnect"....but then again they could be talking to a bunch of dudes.

Ive asked on some occasions for them to stop texting while i was taking them out to dinner or something. Hell i took this one girl on a getaway..cost me $800 bucks...she sat there and text some guy the whole time in the car and while we got dressed for dinner.

Yeah, she is one of those girls who is always texting. Just didnt want to seem like im being too controlling... I mean I would never be texting other people while im with someone. Maybe thats just me.

Well, I see to it that I do not text when I'm with someone. It's just respect. I just bring out my phone for emergency texts or something similar.

Charlie is completely right, there are acceptable times and unacceptable times. To be honest, if you have to police them about it, its a bad start anyway.
