Got a little problem trying to get close to an older girl

Ok, so i got over my ex,finally but thru the process of that i ignored a girl that i met,she is 6 years older than me,i am 22 she 28,and i gave her a hint i like her but she is in another city for a few days and she told me i had the change when she was back home.She will be coming back and she talks nice to me and smiles,kinda said we can have fun but i'm like...was my chance of getting to a romantic lvl gone?Cause she is so damn cute and nice and perfect from a man's point of view,and i'm not talking about appeareance.What are u girls thinking..should i give another try and one more push for a date?

Well the fact that she is open to you seeing you when she returns is a good sign....because that means there might not be someone else she's planning to see when she returns. When you meet up...don't try too hard. Speak honestly and openly. Let her get to know you. Ask her out on a date...Do what you feel you need to do. If she wasn't interested in you at all....she wouldnt give you the time of day.
