Me and my girlfriend just broke up and she instantly started seeing another guy after 8 years with me. This guy is only 20 and she is 23 and im 24 so its obivious this is nothin more than a bandaide for her and i am trying to get her back she is just scared to death. Everyone tells me rebound relationships never last. WHAT SHOULD I DO!! I know she wants to be with me we just had some bad things happen she is trying to convince herself other wise. I can offer her everything he cant offer he anything but sex and drinking!

Your use of the word "instantly" has me worried ... how soon after the breakup did she start dating this new guy? Did you break up with her or did she break up with you?

Well me and her had been goin through a hard time for a while now and i wouldnt give her what she wanted me to and now i realize this but she is trying to move on and act like her feelings dont even exist and now the first guy that even talked to her is making her feel better about herself so she is just using him as a bandaide for the time being
