First Love, First Date

Hey,

Theres a girl that Ive know for about 6 months now. I met her though a friend, who started off wanting to ask her out, but has since decided not to, and according to him, and other people, she has no boyfriend.

Alls good so far..

Over the past month she has started talking to me alot more, about everything really, and generally having a good laugh. Unfortunately this is only over MSN since we go to different schools and dont get as much time to hang out together as id like.
Ive asked her out to the cinema with me for this friday, and said that we would go alone. She seemed alright with the idea, but has yet to say yes or no.
Im naturally shy and nervous, and so is she, so all i get from her is lots of maybes. Ive been told by lots of people that were really well suited, personality wise, so Im hopeful


I was thinking of asking her out, properly, and perhaps asking her if she wants to come out somewhere with me during the holidays, but im not sure how to go about it.


My problems are :

How can i get even a rough idea of whether she likes me as much as i like her, going by MSN ?
When should i ask if she wants to go out with me ?
How do i ask ?


I planned to try tell whether she likes me when were there, going by body language and such, but id like slightly to be able to tell in advance.
As I said im nervous, the whole love thing is new to me, so i really dont know what to do.

Oh and I think i should be alright trying to tell whether she likes me when we are there, due to the wealth of info on here. I suppose just agreeing to come is a good sign ?

Yeah, but take it slow dude, don't go serenading your unconditional love for her or nothin' like that.
