    long distance.

So heres the question, do i try long distance?

Last year at college 90% of the long term relationships (i knew of) failed in the first month, and the other 10% ended by the end of first semester. I didnt know ONE relationship that made it through a whole year.

College is the time for trial and error.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

i never been in a long distance relationship but i can guess it must be hard

cause you can hardly see each other. I been away from my man before for 2

weeks its was hard i know it would be a lot harder if its a daily thing.

LDR's only work if you can afford the exhorbinant phone bills and plane rides every few months. If you don't get to see them, kiss them, spend quality time for three months plus, it becomes nearly impossible to keep it together.

Not that it's never been done, it's just really difficult.

It's entirely up to you, you can always try right? No harm in trying, but I can imagine it's a lot of work and communication!!
To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love; but then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love; to be happy then is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy; therefore to be unhappy one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down.

Well okay there MAY be some kind of harm, but if you never try then you'll never know!

i think if you been in a relationship for a while and then your bf or gf goes away to school she should try the long distance thing but if its from the start and you can hardly see her or him its pretty close to impossible.

And if you get hurt, you learn and that's the benefit.

I had a long distance for 3.5 years.... 2 hours apart....

Saw each other at least 2-3 times a month...

It was wonderful whenever I got to see her, it just made me cherish the moment even more.
