After a breakup anyone else feel like...

they'd rather not even be friends with anyone from the opposite sex?

I'm at this point where it seems like its just easier to be friends with guys, but keep girls as more of just acquaintances than actual friends.

Considering my normal personality is to just talk to whoever(regardless of age, sex, race, whatever) its kinda weird to me that I'm feeling like this.

Maybe b/c its only been a couple of months since the breakup, maybe its because I'm graduating and leaving in a few months and don't want to risk having feelings for a girl and then leaving, I don't know why.

Anyone else feel this way after a breakup?

I don't know... in some ways, I think mainataining friendships with the opposite gender is difficult. Usually, there ends up being some amount of sexual tension at some point, and that isn't really conducive to friendship. So yeah, I think strong identification with one's own gender is normal.

It seems smart to me to avoid meaningful relationships when you know you are getting ready to move away.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
