    Dreams about my cousin

    Hi there,

I have a strange experience to share with you all. I would like to give a little detail about myself & my cousin.

My age is 26 now and my cousin is 4 years elder to me. We are very closed friends since our childhood. She cares a lot about me. Now she is married. I never had any wrong intentions or thoughts about her. But she has a very special place in my life.

Lately I have started getting dreams of in love with her. Though I am not having sex with her in my dreams, but I see we both kissing, hugging and fondling each other in my dreams.
I know this is wrong, but I feel like happy or satisfied with this.

Why is this so? Is it natural or my attraction towards her?

I will be glad to get your opinions on this.

It would generally mean your madly in love and my best advice is go tell her as soon as possible. She prob' has freaky incest dreams about you too, so you should take a chance and let her know. It'll be the best choice you've ever made.

    Let us know what happens.

I don't know why people have a need to believe their dreams mean anything at all. You probably had a passing thought about your cousin and haven't had sex recently, and the two thing blended into one, wierd dream. There is no "deep, hidden meaning". Just forget about it.

It's an infatuation. Distance yourself from her for awhile. Go out an socialize.

Or even better, go out and get laid (with someone outside family)

I actually think it was God coming to him in the form of his cousin in his dream to have a spiritual affair with his incestuous soul.

Incestuous thoughts happen... I suppose? So I'll try not to be judgmental.

Distance is the key you need to get over this infatuation you have about her. There is no hope whatsoever in this situation... remind yourself of that. She's married, she has a life.. and more importantly... she's kin, which means your pursuit of her would ostracize you from all those around you.

Go out, get laid... or if you must, try to find someone with the characteristics you happen to like in your cousin. Maybe it's her easy going personality you crave... and not physical intimacy?

In either case... the branch can't grow back into the tree... you need to look a little further from 'home.'

Thanks a lot all of you for your replies.

I think I should avoid her, better for both of us. But I will try to know atleast what she think about me. Coz she is always fond of me.

Just stick with that and the feelings will fade on their own in time.

If you pursue her you will just make a fool of yourself and be labeled a freak (unless you're in Arkansas).
