I am nineteen and female, I'm usually someone others come to for advice, though for some reason my imagined crystal ball fails when dealing with my own life, and as such I am now here. I'm rather bad at opening paragraphs that are actually about me and not character development; a trait which has taken over due to my love of reading and writing. This is a rather difficult medium for me, so forgive me if my social skills aren't well polished.

Oh, and regarding the name? I like Etymology. "Nik" Is one of the two roots which make up Nicole, and it means "Victory". Its something that helps me on through my rougher days. Hurrah for unintentional competitiveness?
