I’m taking my girlfriend to Cebu, Philippines for a vacation. It’s going to be our anniversary next month and I’m going to surprise her with this trip. Her brother was attending a foreign dating event there and ever since she saw the photos, she couldn’t stop talking about the beaches in Cebu. So, I thought, why not take her there? It’s an easy pick for our holiday.

Part of my plan is asking her to marry me during our trip. I want it to be simple but romantic. She’s not really the type of person who wants grand gestures. I just need a good place to do it and I’m good. Can anyone give a good suggestion for proposal venues? Beaches are on top of my list but other suggestions are welcomed as well. Thanks guys!
