Do you remember your first true love.
I mean the guy u thought u were gonna marry when u were in high school or college.
What you think bout him now?
Would you do it again?
Miss it at all sometimes?

Well it was a few yrs back......and honestly Im glad I got out of that relationship. It was honestly dragging me down..... But you know from time to time I do think about the good times and kinda miss it all....before it all turned to sh*t and he cheated on me...... Sigh....oh well.
Appreciate the good times and learn from the bad times....
If he didnt cheat on you...... would things be diff u think?
Possibly.... I think we would have stayed together alot longer..... But there were other issues as well..with him. He couldn't keep a job......mooched off of his parents........sometimes mooched off of me....but I really loved him at one time and the sex was WONDERFUL!Originally Posted by Seb87

he wasnt really my first love, (we were neighbors) but then we had a mutual understanding at that time... it would have grown to something wonderful but we were just not meant to be.. it was fun though
No. I don't know if I've ever had a first true love. My first serious boyfriend lasted 5 years, and although I though about marriage and the future with him, I never felt fully convinced. I'm not sure he did either and it took a while but we eventually broke up.
After that, I fell in love madly with someone I dated off and on. But he didn't fall madly in love with me. So I can hardly call that love either, can I?
My first love was also my 'first lay' that I mentioned in the other thread. I mean, we break up with people for a reason....all the reasons I broke up with him were valid then and are still valid now, so I'd never date him again. He's a terrific guy....good heart, smart, funny.....but still not the 'whole package' I wanted in the long term. I miss his friendship a lot. But the relationship? No.Originally Posted by Seb87
