    Gamer females..

I have been looking for a mate that has the same interests in me (Online PC Video Gaming) for so long. Are there really any females that enjoy gaming as much as I do? I close to giving up on the matter. Each of my past relationships havn't lasted due to different hobbies/opinions, that's what I am attempting to find someone similar.

Why don't you find a more sociable hobby? There's a difference between playing games now and then and being obsessed. You'll be a lot happier if you tear yourself away from those crappy MMOs and actually do something fun and constructive with your time. You'll also meet members of the opposite sex.

In answer to your question, yes, those girls do exist. They're few and far between, and most of them all ready have overweight boyfriends with severe acne, but they're out there. Good luck finding one.

I am not obsessed with playing games, but I do love playing them. I would not date a guy who was obsessed with video games cuz if we got older and he was still obsessed I am sure he wouldnt put the control down to spend time with his woman.

I surely dont mind playing games with my s.o., but when it becomes an addiction for him, it will be a problem for me.

You are extremely biased. For one, I have never played an MMO in my life. For two, People who play video games are not all fat and pimply, observe (me): Hmm, I can't post pics yet, so myspace dot com backslash ownershipx should do it.

Anyways, thanks for at least answering my question

I see. I completely understand that. I am glad I am not addicted, I just do it in my spare time (which is limited). I play for $ too sometimes . Thanks for response!

Been gaming ever since I was 6. Starting with the MSX2 of my sister, evolving to the Nintendo Wii as it is as off today. Liking mmorpg's, but enjoy an occasional shooters too. I've met quiet a few girls like me, that started playing ever since they were little. Most of them are far more friendly then the girls that only played mmorpg's I think. Those often come with an attitude.

With all the people writing posts about how they met their girlfriends playing World of Warcraft, I'm surprised you haven't met someone this way.

There are gamer girls out there. They may not be everywhere, but they're out there. I'm one of them. A MMORPG is probably your best bet for meeting one.

If you want to go local, why not try setting up a meetup group for gamers? There are a few here in the city and seem to have plenty of women in attendance.

What's MSX2? You play shooters? Like what? MMORPG's aren't my thing but I guess I can try em out, but mostly I'd like to find a local girlfriend that games, :\ .

On WoW, It wouldn't be likely that I would find someone in Georgia, would it? How would I go about setting up a local meetup group for gamers? BTW, Starbuck is hot, lol.

    Awwww, thanks Thermal.

The gamer group here in NYC is found through meetup.com, so try that one. Or facebook maybe?

You could always try an internet dating site and mention that you're looking for a gaming buddy/girlfriend in the Atlanta area? Maybe one of those sites like Soulgeek.com where the people have more of a geeky bent.

I met my boyfriend on a dating site, and he's pretty into games as well. In fact, I've had more problems dating guys who WEREN'T gamers, believe it or not.

We joke that the couple that slays together, stays together.
