And not this either:
I'm talking about these people:
____________________________________
It is in our blood. The pride. The passion. The highs. The lows. I don't care if you watch soccer, football, basketball, baseball, or nascar. we all have something in common - the love for sport.
For the hardcore sports fan - we don't follow the conventional monthly calander. We have no use for the Annual Jan - Dec calander. Our calanders run on seasons. Dec 31 st is NOT NEW YEARS for me! I mean - the soccer season is not even half way done by that time!
We watch ESPN religiously. If our team loose, we find something to blame. Maybe I ate too much for breakfast? Maybe I should've left my apartment 5 minutes late, like everyother day. You look for something - ANYTHING - to pin the reasonings for why your team failed.
when you are a hardcore fan - you know that the team, belongs to YOU, as much as it does to the players, coaches, managers, and even owners.
YOU - have invested and put forth sooo much time and loyal dedication to the team.
YOU - have cried with them, and laughed with them, while the world was sipping margaritas and cocktails in the philapeans
when you are a hardcore fan, life holds a new meaning. it is IMPOSSIBLE for the hardcore fan to integrate well into society. Society is NOT meant for the hardcore fan.
We, the hardcore fan, must revolve our schedules around WORK, SCHOOL, and FRIENDS.
It is not easy to be a Fan. And this is why, I salute YOU - the Hardcore Fan.
