I have been preoccupied by all things 'in real life' and it has interfered with time spent here.
Pertaining to the therapist... I don't have Asperger's Syndrome (not really a big surprise)... just stilted emotional development due to a rough childhood. The only major concern they seemed to find was something referred to as 'Munchhausen by Proxy' (my mother had Munchhausen Syndrome) and working on that as we speak. The other being a bit of depression, which is easy enough to manage.
I've gotten a job as a part-time tutor as there are plenty of parents around here with busy schedules, and that has really raised my spirits as I love to teach. The pay isn't the best, but it's better than nothing.
In my spare time between work and schooling, I've taken to reading again (long lost love affair of mine) and even made some progress with my own writing.
All in all... I think I made it through the worst of it, and looking forward to learning a few things here and there as I slowly get my degree, and eventually get back on my feet again.
