    Is Rose only love?

    Hi guys,

I have a question want ask.

My boy friend is from UKRAINE. We are from different country.

He send me rose sometime, I like it. But recently I found, he also send rose to other girls for some birthday.

One time I went with him for a 12 years old girl birthday, he send her red rose, I feel not good, asked him, he told me in his country, rose not only for love. I thought she just a little girl, nothing feel gealous.

Yesterday his friend daughters birthday(two daughters birthday only one day difference), he bring them for dinner, they are around 20 years old, boyfriend also there. I didn't go with him. after finish he back to my home, I found 3 roses table. I asked him if it's from birthday.
He told me he left three when orginize the two bunch of flowers. this time he bought them yellow roses.

I feel so strange, after this if he send me rose I already don't feel special and for love.

I am wondering if it's true, rose is not only for love.

I also wondering the girl's boyfriend was also there, he saw other man send rose to her girlfriend, he feel good or not.

so bad...... for me, normanly, in my country, rose only for love, different flower has different meaning.

The meaning of red roses in particular is often love. In the US a dozen red roses are commonly given on Valentine's Day for this reason. Roses of different colors don't hold such significance as far as I know.

Maybe in the Ukraine such flowers don't hold the same meaning. In this case your boyfriend isn't necessarily wrong for giving such flowers. He may need flower etiquette lessons though.

Giving red roses to a twelve year old is extremely inappropriate. Red roses are a symbol for romantic, passionate love. A child that age should get white roses, which symbolize innocence, or maybe yellow, which symbolize friendship.
