Why is it that heftier people sometimes tend to be less open/friendly towards skinnier people? I'm a tiny person, only 5' and 100 lbs.. I am friendly towards everyone of any age/gender/race/body type etc, but some people just don't make an effort to reciprocate that.. and if they do, it's usually forced just to be polite... anybody else notice this? Or does this all just sound retarded?

Um nope. I've been on both ends of the scale, and I can tell you the only people I tend to be less friendly with are the asshole people, whether they are skinny, fat, gorgeous, or hideous.

i understand what you are trying to say. seriously it comes down to the person, if they have high esteem and confidence then its not a problem. Im guessing that the people you went up to had low esteem and get jealous around people who are thinner.-

Or is that because skinnier people tend to be more shy and therefore silent and weird. So, other people might approach you a bit different and you can translate it as being rude, even though it might not... A bit of paranoia perhaps. I know this because I am not a fatty either

"Heavy set" people are just cutting to the chase and being assholes back to the people that are assholes to them ... they got no love in grade school, that's why.
