What's the Real Reason?

So a few months back a girl I had been semi-seeing for 6 months or so suddenly decides she no longer "feels that way" about me one day. To this day, she has yet to tell me any reason why other than "because."

What's the real reason here? We lived 5 hours apart, but saw each other every other month usually. Every time we spent time together, things were great as far as I can tell, she never complained or said anything bad or that anything was wrong up until she decided this.

Is this a normal thing for women to do?

Well it wasn't my choice, I would've saw her every weekend if she were up for it, but she wouldn't/had to work.
