Shoes matching jacket help!!

Hi,

Quick one for the style guru's..

I am going to a Christmas dinner tomorrow night.. I have to decide what to wear and have the following options to finalise..

I am wearing a white long sleeve button up shirt with either dark blue jeans or dark grey trousers.. Opinions?

Next is the shoes.. I will probably wear a black leather jacket but have some nice dark brown shoes.. Will the shoes go with the black jacket? If I wear the dark grey trousers would the brown shoes be a no-no?? Would the dark brown shoes be better with the dark blue jeans???

Sheesh, I really which I knew how to dress properly!!.

Do you have any brown jacket? I love brown shoes and blue jeans, but I don't know about the black leather jacket.

Yeah, don't mix and match brown shoes with a black jacket. Either buy some black shoes or a brown jacket (really, you should just buy them both; your closet isn't complete without them). As for the pants, that depends on personal style; I'd wear the jeans.

That settles it.. Jeans it is and I will wear the "not as cool" black shoes I have because I don't have a brown jacket..
