How many first dates lead to a relationship?

I was wondering how many of the first dates you've ever been on eventually lead to a relationship, however briefly. I'm still trying to figure out how much of the other person is learned on a first date, or whether people meet because they already kind of decided they want to be together.

It won't. This isn't a random sampling of the female population.

Any poll online is going to have a bias, but realistically, hardly any polls aren't flawed by a self-selection bias of the participants. Nevertheless, if the completely random group of people who use this site were to chose to answer the poll the results would hardly be meaningless.

You're talking about people who sought out a place to talk about relationship issues. You really don't see how this particular self-selection is extremely biased toward those who want to be in a relationship, hence skewing the results?
