Partner stays out all night..

What are other peoples opinions on their partner staying out all night?

Every now and then my long term partner says he's going out and he won't be back late. He then goes on an unintentional all-nighter - gets comfy at a house party or loses track of time etc so doesn't let me know.

I don't want to be controlling, I understand he is an adult. I just worry a lot and would feel better if he went out and had a good time and wanted to come home at the end of the night. Or at least let me know if his plans have changed.

Am I being unreasonable? Thanks x

hes being a bit of a twat if he doesnt at least call you and let you know. if it happens occasionaly, its no biggie. If its every week, then its a prob.

He should at least let you know he's not coming home. If my husband just didn't come home one night I wouldn't sleep wondering what sort of horrible thing happened to him. He owes you that at least.
