Why would you, all of a sudden, leave without saying goodbye or something?
Why would you, all of a sudden, leave without saying goodbye or something?
I wouldn't.
But if you're asking why ANYONE would, it's because...
A) The guy was too much of a coward to face her and break up with her like a man.
B) The guy didn't care enough about her to give her that courtesy of a goodbye.
C) The guy figured it was basically over anyway, just unspoken, and that both were already moving on.
D) The guy didn't know exactly HOW to break up with her, so he DIDN'T.
E) Something happened that was beyond his control, so the guy COULDN'T break up with her.
Relationships aren't really formal until marriage, and you really won't have any closure with ending any relationship, unless it ends in a court with divorce papers, lol.
Dopp, would you like your gf to break contact with you suddenly without saying why, what or where she's leaving just because you two aren't married? I don't think so
I wazzzz here
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
Every relationship deserves some kinda closure even if it's just a budding relationship...not everyone will do this but it does help people involved to move on quicker.
Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.

My hope died long time ago.
I don;t know what you mean by closure but if she were crazy or mentally disturbed whatever I might not want closure, I'd just want to get away
Its unusual to do that and usually means they are selfish or cowardly. But I can think of some reasons why someone might cut ties w/o explanation. They tend to be extreme reasons tho: abuse, cheating.. that sort of thing.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

I was tempted to break up with my ex via email... there was just, a large part of me that didn't want to see her face. I actually took an hour long bus to her house just to break up with her in person ("Surprise! ... So.. this aint working out.")
Reasons I could see...
1. You are cowardly. (mainly this...)
2. Its much easier
3. You don't have to see them cry
...
4. You are looked on as an asshole, hopefully she will move on easier with that thought that you are a douche (more of an excuse of a reason though)
5. ... You are a coward
6. Long distance...
It mostly boils down to not having a spine.
closure- saying goodbye; not leaving the relationship hanging
For me, I could never just leave it at that. However, that would be my initial reaction depending on the reason for the break up. If she betrayed, lied, deceived, manipulated me, then a person like that does not deserve respect nor an explanation for my departure. But after I cool down, I would and usually do, try to have a heart to heart to inform that person what they did wrong and how unproductive it is to my life and theirs.
Some women I have dated just did not accept criticism so leaving without a heart to heart is the only course of action.
Relationships take work when things are darkest not brightest. Learning and survining the dark moments results in a healthy lasting relationship. My folks have been married 45 years. When I have argued with my dates they way they argues, my relationship ends. My folks love eachother and it would be perfect to find that kind of love and commitment.
We learn about ourselves in relationship with others.
