I've heard from a lot of people that the reason they believe in god is because they simply want to. Whenever they feel alone or if everybody else in the world abandon them, God is always there no matter what happens. So some of those who believe in god want to believe that he exists because they want to be kept accompanied or they want someone who will never let them down under any circumstances.

I have a question to those who don't believe in a God, who or what do you turn to, when the world seem to fall on you or if you are feeling alone and your spirits are down?
