Pfffftt, Miso! It was great! Anyone who's been married long enough to have wanted to kill your spouse will totally relate to this movie. Even better if you've ever done counselling. I saw it w/my husband and it was great fun. Not a good new date movie, tho, I think.

Now, saw "A lot like love" and THAT movie was terrible.

lol. i think it would have been better if one of them killed the other. during that whole make up sex scene i was like, "give me one of those guns so i can shoot myself."

i thought the "therapist office" scenes were (badly) ripping off war of the roses.

War of the Roses is definitely the better movie. Loved the chandelier at the end (where she throws his arm off!)

Anybody seen "The Machinist" (on DVD)? Very offbeat and uplifting little film I enjoyed recently.

THat whole movie was a foreplay leading to sex.. man, if it was like that in real life, that woud be domestic abuse..

I thought Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a great movie. It was a great popcorn summer flick, action and humor. I haven't seen War of the Roses so that may have been something to spoil the humor in some spots for you. The film wasn't meant to be taken seriously though, just something to let yourself go and enjoy. I could tell from the previews that they would team up after fighting one another so it wasn't a big surprise to me one didn't kill the other.

Yeah, I just saw it as a fun movie, I didn't go into it with a whole "How realistic is this?" attitude.

And I, too, never saw the War of Roses movie, so I thought the therapist scenes were pretty funny.

I noticed there was no topic.. but if you want a REAL funny movie go see Wedding Crashers.
