Can You Please Help Me - Big Problem

Hieveryone Im new here and was hoping you could help me with a big long term problem Ive had.

Im a 18 year old guy who has not had a proper relationship and which Ifdreallyfrustrating. Im funny, down to earth, decent dressed, collage student but not the best looking lad and im very nervous with girls!. My best mate set me with a girl who I was mates with for a few years and she showd signes of intrest and told my mate she was and I asked her out and she said no. The same happend with two other girls. I dont know what I did wrong or why I have bad luck! I got to know them both as friends first too.

Now there is a girl who works as a receptionist at the gym, I recently joined and shes younger than me (16), and she looks a nice girl but I have never spoken to her at all, also her mum works there too. Alot of my family and friends all go the gym too so there around me which makes it more awkward to do anything. I want to get her attention and get to know her and then who knows!, what can I do? and how can I approach this? I know Ive got to do this on my own!

Successful relationships are based on compatability on all levels-social, intimate, etc. How else are you gonna find out if you are compatible if you don't talk to her?

You know nothing about her other than you find her attractive. Don't you want to know and experience more that just this?
