I had to stay a virgin for a loooong time because of my culture, parents and blah blah blah...which had led me to believe ONLY in sex AFTER marriage.

Answering your question from my experience... I would say YUP.. it was a burden to stay a virgin - especially when you find someone so right and whose moves are so...whoa.. I had to give up my ambition to keep with my integrity but I never regret what I did. (Except sometimes it's hard to find excuse why I was at his condo but anywayz..) Just the word of virgin had kept me too blind for too long... now I felt it's not only the physical pleasure I was kept from.. but also the chance to feel an emotional bond and the most intimate expressions of love ..
