Near the infinite mercury,
The radiant sapphire dazes me,
My visage be illuminated,
In love I am within such jubilee.
Beneath me I grasp,
Fine splinters of earth's crust,
Consulting my only scale,
I put my quill into the dust.
As I sculpt my affection,
I ponder meaningless expressions,
Anara, Exante, shavuds, Malousion,
Only they can describe my priceless passion.
I begin to draw her smile, a portrait,
I begin to write her kindness, a history,
I begin to engrave her name, an eternity.
Then a wave comes forth,
And washes it all away.
