guys would this scare u off?

been with guy for 4mths now things great. i've fallen in love with him but neither of us have said "I LOVE U" should i wait for him to say it first or should i just say it? i'm scared. i know he really likes me and maybe loves me but not 100% sure if he is there yet and don't want to come across as pushy. he's 33 and i'm 27. he says he not going anywhere and that we're together and things are great, but he hasn't said the 3 words. what should i do???

nothing? why do u care so much? even if u say it and he says it back i bet u'll be thinking he just said it cos u did...

it's just 3 words, if he "shows" u he loves u why do u need him to say it?

How about you wait for one of you to actually know what love is and feels like. You won't have to say nothing at all... you'll just know.

I'm the kind of person who wears their emotions on their sleeve. If I love someone, I'll show it and say it. I want them to know they're loved. But yes it can scare some people away if they don't feel the same. I've had a relationship where the guy told me he wanted to tell me the same thing, but was too scared to. And then another relationship where he didn't feel the same, but that didn't scare him away. In fact, I think he rather liked it because I believe he was just using me the whole time anyway.

    Either way, it's a gamble.

    Who, me?

Tell me about it. I think I'm going through one of those emotional breakdowns. I cried on Sister Act 2. Twice. :\

It is true, they are just words and it is easy to say something you don't mean.

Words are only words. Do you know how I often I say I love you? Everyday. I love you mom. I love you dad. I love you kitty. I love you soda. I love you, subway. I love you room. Etc. Etc. They are just WORDS. If you guys can't say it, then your relationship is bullshit. I say I love you to food that I get to know for about 2 mins while it is getting eaten by me. I say I love you to my kitty who can't even TALK... Think about it.
I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.

Wait. It's too soon, for one thing. Give it 9 months to a year. If HE hasn't said it by then, you may have a problem. Relax and enjoy for now!
