duh... obviously the fresher the better. american has gotten too spoiled with frozen foods as well as mcdonalds. it's a pity that you didn't get to see the beginning of this clip where they actually cook the fish. it's much better.

personally, i'd take a rare filet over any mcdonalds any day of the week.

The difference between someone else killing a cow for us before we eat it and us eating the flesh straight off the cow while it's still alive is:

1. The cow is already dead when we eat it and doesn't have to suffer a much more excruciatingly painful death than it would have otherwise.
2. It transforms the person doing this into a sadistic torturer.

And what about cooking crabs alive... Mussels,lobsters etc etc... Eh... World is cruel but tasty...
I can understand a lot... But I will NEVER NEVER EVER understand how some can eat dogs and cats or people...
Once I didn't eat kfc chicken for a longer time... But then I thought to myself- nobody will see my protest anyway,and this chicken is sooo tasty.But actually kfc chickens do us more harm then those chickens...People eat meat full of antibiotics and steroids...Totally unhealthy.
That's why the best meat is from farmers or just village people that have few chickens,cows and pigs. They feed them naturally,they kill them quick(not letting them feel pain too long) and the meat is tootaly healthy. I for example, eat today a duck soup(like chicken soup,but made on duck instead).Duck was from my mum's aunt little farm. Tasty.

Cooking crabs alive to eat when they're dead is one thing.

Cooking a fish and eating it while it's still attempting to breathe takes it to a whole other level.
