Okay so I haven't talked to my ex nor have I seen him in a bit, but I recently had a sex dream with him. Now this sort of thing hasn't happened to me before, not even with other exs. I also never had sex with my ex, messed around sure, but we never really went any further. So why did I have this dream?

good point.
I know they are normal, I just really don't like the fact that it has to be with a person I'm trying to forget.
I was just wondering if it had any meaning to it, if my subconscious is trying to tell me something...I don't know this dream just makes me feel like I'm obsessing over him/ or the situation, which is why I don't see him or talk to him.

Your subconscious is telling you that you are horny and that you aren't yet over your ex. that's it. Don't try to overthink it.
