I'm just curious what do women think of tattoos. I'm contemplating on getting one. So does it looks good on guys? Your opinion please.

I want a girl who likes to talk. ......I just dont know what to say sometimes and would rather just listen.
where are you thinking of getting it? what is it? how big?
Depends on the woman, the guy, and the tattoo. But I personally can't say I'd like if a guy had one completely covering his back, or something that would make a short-sleeved dress shirt at a formal function a bad idea... But if he had something small under his waistband or something, I wouldn't care, no. But I can't think of a case where it would make a guy /more/ attractive to me.
I think women like cute stuff like small Angel wings on your shoulders.
I think women would question your masculinity if you had a "cute" tat.

I don't really care for tattoos too much... I suppose they are okay on men...
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
General rule for tats. Most women don't care for body armor or even full sleeves. and we really dislike ones displaying naked women or vulgarities...
I personally have a tattoo and think alot of tats are beautiful and very tastefully done.
Just don't worry about one tat and what a woman would think...unless once again its vulgar. Do it for you and make sure its something you appreciate and will for a LONG LONG LONG time
Rhonda
PS only take along your woman to get the tat if you sure you are man enough to take it...I'm guessing passing out in front of your gal in a chair would have some lasting ego scars! lol
You know, I once jokingly told a girl I had a pin-up girl on my bicep and I could make her dance. I was trying to gross her out. Instead, she told me that was incredibly hot and begged to see it...
Go figure.

XD;; That'd gross me out, a little...
bottom line, tattoos are just like any other form of body art, or style of dressing for that matter. it's all a personal preference.

Yeah, it's definitely personal preference.
I find tats hot. Not really into full sleeves although I've dated a guy with them and really liked them on him. A nice one on the upper arm is really really yummy to me. But again, it's different for everyone.

to quote moonchild, "Depends on the woman, the guy, and the tattoo."
if you do go for it, remember, put it somewhere you can hide it if need be, ie for job interviews and what have you.
and if possible have a cool/sentimental/whatever story behind it, so that when a girl asks what it means you actually have something to say beyond "it looks cool..".
all in all, do it for yourself- unless it's vulgar or very in-your-face, most girls wont mind either way
This is kinda a silly question because the answers are going to differe from person to person.
I personally love tattoos and piercings but I don't think piercings look good on males spare the rare occasion. I have tattoos and guys either like them or don't and it's the same thing for men.
Just make sure you get something meaningful that you've wanted for a long time... that's all I care. You're the one who has to live with it.
hahaha.. just do as your tattoo says and "live for the moment"
