Internet is going to be the end of all humanity. I get so discouraged reading about young people who meet online being in different countries and creating themselves an even bigger headache. Those who do meet rarely stay together. When people meet in reality they get a chance to know all the little perks, weaknesses and weirdnesses that others possess. Why not look into people that live around you? go on blind dates, clubs, libraries, like it used to be. You'll be saving yourself the expense of greater disappointment meating someone whom you really don't know. People online never show their true selves. Everything is exaggerated. Wake up!

There's a difference between dating online and meeting people online. If you've only ever seen your bf/gf over the internet, you're online dating and likely headed for a broken heart. It's also sort of unhealthy.....sets up unrealistic relationship scenarios.

Meeting a person online and then dating them in person is another story.
