A Perfect Sorry

What do you ladies consider to be THE perfect apology from your boyfriends, husbands, slaves, etc....? =]

All i need is for the sorry to be genuine and for them to mean it 100%

clear disappointment in oneself for a moment.. pull me in and nuzzle my cheek saying he never wants to disapppoint me ever like that again. then whatever it was NEVER happening again. if he doesnt call me in a long time and i get upset over it I dont want to have the conversation five times more i want him to say he will change it then make it happen not just words. That would be a true gentleman.

This is the key. Apologize once, be sincere (NOT over the top), and drop it.

And change the behavior.

Yup... He just needs to genuinely understand why he is apologizing (why I am upset), and resolve to change the behavior. It needs not be fancy.

As long he means it and knows what he is apologising for it's fine. Sometimes I ask what he is apologising for so he has to think about it and tell me. There is nothing worse than just saying sorry but him having no clue what upset you in the first place. Being really really nice afterwards to you is always a nice gesture.
