Relationship Meaning

My friend brought up the fact that me and my bf's relationship is 'sexually based' and I was kinda taken aback by that.....

I mean yes, we do have sex every time we see each other.....but it's not ALL we do.....I mean we don't really go out much(no $, and different interest's) but we usally watch TV and if we aren't going to see each other, he'll call me and we'll chat for a while.

And a few weeks ago I had a cyst on my tailbone and I obviously couldn't do anything sexual, was in serious pain, but he came over and just sat with me and watched movies.....

I don't think that constitues a 'sexually based' realtionship?

It just had me second guessing our realtionship.....

but she's been with her bf 7 yrs, and they rarely have sex anymore....so I guess every time your together would be a lot to her....

Well, I don't like to skateboard or smoke pot and he dosne't ride horses.....and neither of us do anything else..no other hobbies......except eat(that's all me and my friends do when we get together, eat or go shopping, usually both).

I guess we're just both boring people.

I don't think there's anything wrong with just hanging out, I can't afford to do anything more than that.....

I thought when you we're married a long time you DON"T have sex...ha.

As long as you two are spending time together and are both happy, communicating with one another then you two are ok.
