Hello, I am new to the forum and though I would start here and say Hi. I am male living in CA Bay Area and trying to mend a broken heart. Things have been quite tough lately and I am looking for a place to vent and I am hoping I came to the right place.

Hey l&c, when I was heartbroken, I wrote a whole notebook full of the worst song lyrics ever committed to paper. I also rented sappy movies that made me sob and spent about a week in bed. In other words, I wallowed. I recommend it. Wallow for a while and give yourself a deadline to get back to your life.

The worst part is she was my best friend. We lived together and engaged. We planned on having kids soon as well. We are pretty much everything to one another.

then one day she said she was "DONE". She didnt want to be in the relationship any longer. I dont know if the whole seriousness of everything got to her and she is confused, but it hit me hard and I really dont have anywhere to go or anyone to talk to about it.

I dont feel like working, eating or doing anything. It really sucks because she was the one that I always looked forward to seeing and being with every day.
